Terms of sale

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Information still to be completed

Where applicable, Business Register and REA details must still be confirmed. Standard shipping rates, served countries and the return address must also be added before fully automated online sales are enabled.

1. Seller and scope

Seller: Mirella Melia · Via Pio X n. 12, 89851 Ionadi (VV), Italy · VAT no. IT03970810796 · Tax ID MLEMLL70R65F537R · Certified email mirella.melia@pec.it · SDI recipient code USAL8PV · miremelia@gmail.com · +39 339 651 7392. Business Register and REA details to be added if applicable.

These terms apply to consumer purchases of Mirella Melia garments submitted through this website and then finalised directly with the atelier by WhatsApp or email. The website currently acts as a catalogue and order-request tool; it does not collect card payments.

2. Products and handcrafted features

Product pages show the main features, available sizes and photographs. Because decorations are handmade, minor variations in colour, placement and finish are natural and do not constitute a defect when they do not affect conformity or intended use. The customer may request measurements and further photographs before ordering.

3. Order process and conclusion of the contract

  1. The customer selects the item and size and sends a request by WhatsApp or email.
  2. The atelier checks availability, destination, delivery estimate, shipping cost and any customisation.
  3. Before payment, the customer receives a written summary with the total price and applicable conditions.
  4. The contract is concluded when the atelier expressly accepts the order and the requested payment is received, unless the written confirmation states otherwise.

An automatic message or the sending of the cart summary is not an acceptance of the order.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros. Any shipping cost and other amount applicable to the specific destination are communicated before payment. Payment is currently accepted by bank transfer using the details sent directly by the atelier. Card and PayPal payments are not yet active.

5. Availability, production and delivery

Availability is confirmed individually. For made-to-order or customised items, the atelier communicates the estimated production time before the contract is concluded. Delivery terms and destinations are governed by the Shipping & Returns page and the order confirmation.

6. Right of withdrawal

A consumer may normally withdraw within 14 days from physical receipt of the goods, without giving reasons, by sending an unequivocal statement to the contact details above. The customer must return the item within 14 days of communicating withdrawal. Direct return costs are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed or the goods are defective.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to clearly personalised or made-to-measure goods where the statutory exception applies. Before starting a custom order, the atelier identifies in writing the requested personalisation and the resulting exclusion, where applicable. This does not affect rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.

7. Refunds and condition of returned goods

Where withdrawal is valid, payments received for the returned goods are reimbursed using the agreed method, within the statutory time limits. The refund may be withheld until the goods are received or the customer provides proof of dispatch. The customer is responsible only for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

8. Legal guarantee

Consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity under applicable consumer law. A suspected lack of conformity should be reported promptly, with the order reference and photographs where useful. These rights are not replaced or reduced by this policy.

9. International orders

Orders outside Italy are accepted only after written confirmation of destination, shipping cost, estimated delivery time and any customs formalities. For EU consumers, these terms do not deprive the customer of mandatory protections granted by the law of their country of residence. For non-EU destinations, any duties and import charges are specified or allocated before payment whenever applicable.

10. Applicable law and disputes

Italian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections. For consumer disputes, the court of the consumer’s residence or domicile has jurisdiction where provided by law. Complaints may be sent to miremelia@gmail.com.
